Glass Carvers Finish Up Vietnam Veterans Memorial Greensboro, NC -- A group of Greensboro glass carvers is finishing up a monument honoring service members killed in Vietnam. They're sandblasting more than 58,000 names onto glass panels. The panels will become part of the Onslow Vietnam Memorial. Each of the 124 panels weighs 300 pounds. Sandblasters have been working for six straight weeks. The glass panels are part of the outer ring. It will be unveiled this Saturday June 13 at 11:00 am in the Lejeune Memorial Gardens.
